Yahdah – Lifting of the hands unto the Father
Towdah – Confessing His Word, giving testimony of His grace
Barauch – To bow down or kneel in submission unto the Lord
Zamar – To sing along with music unto the Lord
Halah – To speak praises with a foolish clamor unto the Lord
Tehillah – To sing Halah, boastful praises unto the Father
Shabach – Loud adoration with a joyful attitude, shouts of praise!
These seven Hebrew words describe ways we can express worship, praise and adoration unto our Lord. Together, let us bring our sacrifice of praise unto the house of the Lord.
