Opportunities to Grow

Weekly Worship

We gather every Sunday morning at 9:30AM for adult bible study, then at 10:30AM for worship. Normally, our services last about an hour and 15 minutes with roughly half the time devoted to worship and half to teaching from the Word of God.

We encourage personal participation in worship through congregational singing, sharing of testimonies, prayers and reading of Scriptures. The teaching is also often interactive with the asking of questions and answers coming from the people.

Every worship service is followed by a time of reflection and an opportunity to pray with another member of the congregation. Also, after every worship service, we offer a coffee fellowship for those that wish to linger and visit.

Wednesday Night Prayer

We gather every Wednesday evenings at 7:00 for prayer and worship, to bring to the LORD an evening sacrifice of praise. Sometimes there is teaching (but then only to stimulate our prayers) and sometimes only praise and petition.

Individual, persistent prayer is essential for every believer. It is also our privilege to pray with each other. Corporate, faith-filled prayer unleashes God’s power that produces results He alone can accomplish.

Home Groups

We encourage all members to become part of a Home Group. Home Groups normally meet twice a month for food, fellowship and Bible Study. These groups are small in size to encourage interaction and to strengthen relationships.

Discipleship

We promote one-on-one discipleship connections by encouraging pairs of people to work through a common curriculum on the basics of the Christian faith and journey. These connections meet weekly for approximately 3 months.

Upon completion, both participants are encouraged to fish for a friend who would benefit from this process. This approach builds and reinforces a common foundation from the Word of God and multiplies the participants in the process.

Social Opportunities

Periodically, we promote social activities, to strengthen our relationships with one another. Relationships are built and reinforced through shared time together. It could be a movie, a sporting event, kayaking, a bonfire, a picnic or some other type of shared activity.

Sunday School

We offer a traditional Sunday School for all ages at 9:30AM every Sunday. Children’s Sunday School uses age appropriate Biblical materials to instill in young people the basics of the Word of God, fostering their relationships with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a good time of fellowship and teaching.

Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry has a breakfast and devotional the first Saturday of every month at 9:00 a.m. Come be inspired by the Word of God with great fellowship for all. Men’s retreats are scheduled periodically; these are great opportunities to get away and fellowship with the Lord and get to know other Christian men more deeply.

Women’s Ministry

Women gather periodically for Bible study and fellowship; the teachings are usually DVD-based, of a limited duration, and extremely relevant and popular. Phenomenal teaching and interaction awaits the ladies.
