Yahdah – Lifting of the hands unto the Father

Towdah – Confessing His Word, giving testimony of His grace

Barauch – To bow down or kneel in submission unto the Lord

Zamar – To sing along with music unto the Lord

Halah – To speak praises with a foolish clamor unto the Lord

Tehillah – To sing Halah, boastful praises unto the Father

Shabach – Loud adoration with a joyful attitude, shouts of praise!

These are seven Hebrew words that describe ways to express worship, praise and adoration unto our Lord.   Let us express praise and worship unto the Lord in at least 7 ways, because he is worthy!

Jehovah Shammah – Lord is Present – Hebrews 13:5

Jehovah Tsidkenu – Lord of Righteousness – 1 Corinthians 1:30
